About The Position

The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer to now operating restaurants nationwide. As a Utility dish washer Team Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests, completing dishes in a timely fashion and keeping dish area in DAMN GOOD shape so that the kitchen runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work fast and keep up with dishes

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all items used for food preparation and food service in a timely manner
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and ensure dishwashing areas are clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and product received on shift; maintain the organization of the walk-in.
• Help with prep or line duties when asked by management.
• Prioritize cleaning the most commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to keep kitchen operations flowing.
• Unload and put away orders, and ensure back of house trash is emptied promptly.
