A Utility Billing Specialist is responsible for answering customer calls, while ensuring all customers are billed timely and accurately. This includes but is not limited to adjusting, analyzing and correcting utility billing discrepancies, data entry, reviewing reports to identify billing errors and quality controls; identifying unusual utility account activity and making necessary adjustments. This is a full-time/temporary assignment that may last up to 12 months. This position includes benefits, but accrues vacation and medical leave at a lower rate. Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The midpoint salary is $26.56 per hour.
