About The Position

Cole Hardware is seeking a Full-Time Seasonal Utility/Sales Associate for their Cole Valley location. This role requires extensive knowledge of hardware-related products, home & garden, plumbing, electrical, paint, construction, tools, and power tools, along with a strong willingness to learn. The primary responsibilities include maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, merchandising products (especially holiday merchandise), and supporting the store management team. The associate is expected to create positive customer interactions, operate professionally with enthusiasm and a smile, and demonstrate goodwill towards customers and coworkers. This is a self-starter, independent role that will also assist with seasonal holiday, housewares, and home goods departments, as well as restocking efforts. A creative eye is a plus.

Requirements

Retail experience preferred (especially in hardware, paint, tools, electrical and plumbing)
A professional, team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand, lift, and move stock as needed
Experience in creative and enticing seasonal merchandising
Weekend and evening availability

Be responsive of safety issues & be conscious of shoplifting activity
Assist with seasonal tree sales and handling
