We’re on the hunt for reliable Casual Utility Allrounders to support multiple mine sites across the Bowen Basin (Emerald & surrounds). Working on a casual, multi-site roster, this role is perfect for those who thrive on variety and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
• Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical Including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance
• Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate will be required
• Driver's License/ Photo ID required
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from site
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
• First Aide Certificate (desired).
• RSA Certificate (desired).
• Forklift License (desired)

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
