The City of Montrose operates a water distribution system and wastewater collection system as well as a wastewater treatment plant. This position leads a team within the Utilities division that maintains safe water and sewer systems for the Montrose community. Under general direction from the Superintendent, plan, organize and supervise the work of staff engaged in a variety of maintenance, repair and construction activities. Perform fire capacity flow tests as required by the building department, fire marshal and city engineer. Water quality sampling on the water distribution system and water tanks per state and EPA regulations. This is a working Team Lead position and is a significant part of the team that is communicating and cultivating the values of the City of Montrose within the Utilities team.
