About The Position

The Utilities Supervisor coordinates the deployment of leading maintenance practices in alignment with production needs and supervises a team carrying out medium-complexity activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations. The position is based at Cargill’s Fort Worth, Texas location.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, or Utilities, or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of directly related work experience in utilities, maintenance, operations, or a similar industrial environment.
CARO Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator certification.
CIRO Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator certification.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of utilities-related tools, process controls, and plant technology systems.
Supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience coordinating contractors or third-party resources.
Experience with SAP maintenance or operations systems.
Understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Experience with industrial refrigeration systems, wastewater treatment systems, industrial boilers, or environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance programs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate execution of specific equipment strategies for assets involved in containing, controlling, or safeguarding high-hazard processes.
Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
Assist in leading the integration of contractor partners and equipment that support the plant workforce.
Partner with regional and global leadership to support area leading practices.
Develop the operational-related budget and track area progress against the estimate.
Make personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
Complete many of the same tasks as subordinate employees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
