About The Position

Join our team! We are hiring for the role of Utilities Operator - Maintenance for the Utilities Department. This is a 2nd Shift position, working from 1:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Requirements

Possession of at least a valid Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire in date.

Responsibilities

Monitor performance of all treatment plant equipment, including checking/adjusting/calibrating control equipment and recording data.
Assist with daily operations and inspection of process equipment.
Maintain the cleanliness of department buildings.
Repair/replace motors, filters, aerators, heaters, switches, and pumps.
Troubleshoot Instrumentation and Controls (I&C).
Maintain and operate various vehicles, including but not limited to commercial motor vehicles, tools, and equipment, including sludge dewatering equipment.
Monitor and maintain lift stations.
Maintain plant and lift station grounds.
