About The Position

This role is essential to our mine process operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our systems. As a Utilities Operating Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of critical systems, including: 7 HTHW Boilers, Compressed air system, Fire water pumps, Potable water treatment system, Wastewater treatment system, and Numerous water distribution systems. You may be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces, and you will be working in various areas of the plant location. Depending on the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.

Requirements

Class 1B or higher Boilers License
Minimum of 1 year manufacturing and/or industrial experience (including relevant experience gained in military service) or equivalent education
High School Diploma or GED
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Strict adherence to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Punctuality, consistent attendance, and self-direction for the success of the operations
Must pass drug and alcohol testing
Must pass the Digital Assessment.

Responsibilities

Operating and maintaining 7 HTHW Boilers
Operating and maintaining the compressed air system
Operating and maintaining fire water pumps
Operating and maintaining the potable water treatment system
Operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment system
Operating and maintaining numerous water distribution systems
Working at heights and/or in confined spaces
Working in various areas of the plant location with potentially hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy environmental conditions.
