In the role of Utilities Engineering Project Manager, we'll count on you to: In the role of Utilities Engineering Project Manager, we'll count on you to Provide project engineering and utility coordination with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients. Develop utility basemaps, coordinate with utility owners and agencies, develop relocation strategies, assist in preparation of cost estimates, preparation of engineering plans and specification for utility relocations. Work independently as well as assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task. Be involved in highway and railroad utility design and plans production for utility owners and Municipal clients. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience is required
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

• Ability to obtain an Engineer’s License in VA, MD and DC
• Ability to read and understand civil transportation engineering design plans
• Ability to read and understand utility installation and adjustment plans
