The Utilities Engineer – Coordination and Interface Management is responsible for the identification, coordination, and resolution of interfaces between the High-Speed Rail (HSR) project and existing utility infrastructure, utility owners, and municipalities. The role includes managing utility-related data, including Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) information across all quality levels (Quality Levels (QL-D to QL-A)), Geographic Information System (GIS) data, legacy records, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models. The position requires active participation in stakeholder coordination, supporting the definition of conflict resolution strategies and ensuring that third-party designs are aligned with agreed requirements, schedule, and project constraints. It covers both: · The engineering of existing conditions (data collection, validation, and constraint identification); · The engineering of proposed solutions, through coordination with stakeholders to define, challenge, agree upon, and validate utility conflict resolution strategies.
