About The Position

The Utilities Coordinator will support construction activities by coordinating the identification and marking of underground utilities before fieldwork begins. The role manages locate requests, schedules, records, expiry dates, and required communications between project teams, subcontractors, locate service providers, and the GTAA.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in utilities coordination or investigations.
• Strong interest in supporting large infrastructure projects.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for RAIC clearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with GTAA or other major airport procedures is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of the Utility Locates Procedure and coordinate updates and revisions as required.
• Coordinate utility locate requests and field schedules with internal teams, subcontractors, and locate service providers.
• Maintain accurate locate records, documentation, tracking systems, and expiry information.
• Coordinate compliance communications with GTAA, including field notifications and locate report submissions.
• Coordinate the communication, follow-up, and escalation of locate-related issues between PACT, locate providers, and GTAA.
• Support with other duties as needed.
