About The Position
AEXP Express Corporation, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Mescalero, NM. This is a full-time position, working 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, excluding federal holidays. The estimated daily work time is 10 hours or less, from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. The contractor will provide their own vehicle and will be responsible for a daily route of approximately 44 miles.
Requirements
- Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
- Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Mescalero, NM
- Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 150 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

- Candidates with Minivans, Cargo Vans and Large SUVs with 150 cubic feet of cargo space
- Must be available to start immediately
Responsibilities
- Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
- Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
- Other administrative duties as required
Benefits
- $330/Day as a 1099 contractor (PAID MONTHLY)
