About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Sykesville, MD. This is a full-time position requiring the contractor to provide their own vehicle and work 6 days a week, Monday through Saturdays, including some federal holidays. The estimated daily work hours are 10 hours or less, with an estimated daily travel of 42 miles (21-mile delivery route). The contractor will be responsible for sorting mail and packages, loading the delivery vehicle, and delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned route. Other administrative duties are also required.

Requirements

Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 70 pounds
Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Sykesville, MD
Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

Responsibilities
