About The Position

Employee is responsible for supporting the user requirements, and computing environment, of the Tribal Information Technology Infrastructure; for the broadcast and archival maintenance of Tribal Council Meetings; and the management of the HelpDesk system. This position will maintain the client-side computing environment for the Tribal Administration and attached Divisions. Employee will distribute and repair computing equipment. Implement and troubleshoot software applications. Deploy applications and create application specific environments. Employee will manage the helpdesk system and respond to requests for support from Tribal employees. Employee will work with contractors hired to assist with IT projects. Employee will assist with server-side deployments and maintenance as required. Employee will record, broadcast, and archive all Tribal Council Meetings and any other meetings directed by administration. This Position supports the Security Systems Technician.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer and network operating systems, computer and network physical installation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Software, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, and applicable specialized user software as necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Server Operating systems.
  • Knowledge of portable devices and their applicable IOS.
  • Knowledge of audio and video recording equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems rapidly upon demand.
  • Sufficient knowledge and experience to provide support for the Security Systems Technician.
  • Employee must attend sufficient training to keep their skills current.
  • A+ and Net+ Certification or Equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of computer and network operating systems, software systems, and applicable applications.
  • Working knowledge of audio recording systems, archiving systems, and broadcast medium.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and appropriate vehicle coverage and maintain driver’s eligibility as a condition of employment.
  • Be eligible to be put on the Tribe’s vehicle insurance policy.
