About The Position

The User Experience (UX) Designer, Associate supports the design and delivery of customer-centered user experiences across One10's digital products. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and senior UX team members, this role assists in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UX documentation that contribute to intuitive, effective solutions for our enterprise software platform. The Associate Designer develops foundational UX skills through research, collaboration, and hands-on design work while helping translate business and user needs into engaging digital experiences.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Is a self-starter, able to work independently, learn quickly and deal well with ambiguous situations
  • Can produce a portfolio of published work for review as a part of the application process
  • Well versed in cutting-edge principles in User Interface design
  • One year of UX experience through internships, academic projects, professional work, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong computer skills (Figma for creating detailed UX specification files and UX assets) and the ability to create documents that can easily be used by Engineering
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Communicate clearly and concisely through both written and verbal means
  • Reliable home-office internet service
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI techniques used by Experience Designers in order to operate more efficiently with routine tasks or simple tasks
  • Experience designing B2B products

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing user experience requirements and documentation for our software platform, PerformX
  • Collaborate with the UX Architect, Sr. to ensure the UX team is defining consistent patterns and cohesive experiences throughout the platform
  • Identify and utilize best practices and industry standards in web, email, and mobile app design
  • Create user experience journey maps and flows
  • Clearly define navigation, content, and functionality through visually appealing, highly usable documentation
  • Create Engineering-ready user experience designs, but not limited to, sitemaps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Apply the Platform’s established UX patterns, design-system components, accessibility standards and design guidelines in all UX designs
  • Participate in user research and usability testing
  • Work collaboratively with the Product Management and Product Development teams
  • Partner with Product Management to determine client needs and requirements
  • Participate primarily at a tactical level on the execution of initiatives to align user experience and business goals
  • Develop user experience designs and assets through the application of best practices, customer insights, proprietary processes, diagnostic tools, and design solutions
  • Consult in the design and development stages of projects to ensure the user experience vision is carried out
  • Present user experience documentation in a compelling way to the User Experience team and the Product and Engineering team
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices
  • Demonstrate continuous learning and growth in UX research, interaction design, accessibility, and emerging design technologies
