About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a motivated, experienced, and energetic Used Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their team. This role is responsible for performing safety inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on internal dealership vehicles to ensure they are reliable, safe, and high-quality pre-owned automobiles. The technician will have the opportunity to work on a variety of makes, models, and year ranges, expanding their skill set across a wide range of repairs. The work environment is indoors in a shop, requiring the use of standard mechanic's tools and involving physical demands such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling. Lifting up to 100 pounds may be required occasionally.

Requirements

Mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders.
Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times.
Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
