About The Position

Go Kia Tacoma is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to prepare used vehicles for sale. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned inventory to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for customers. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Requirements

• Journeyman Automotive Technician certification (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Experience working in a dealership or high-volume repair facility
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Used vehicle inspection or reconditioning experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections on used vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Complete repairs and maintenance to dealership standards
• Perform vehicle reconditioning to prepare inventory for retail sale
• Identify additional repair recommendations during inspections
• Ensure every vehicle meets safety, quality, and reliability standards
• Work closely with the Used Car Manager and Internal Advisors to prioritize inventory
• Maintain accurate repair documentation
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
