Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician/Mechanic

Swickard Fremont Corporation, d/b/a Lexus of FremontFremont, CA
$36 - $40Onsite

About The Position

At Lexus of Fremont, every pre-owned vehicle we sell goes through a thorough reconditioning process before it reaches a guest. The Reconditioning Technician is the person who makes that standard real -- performing safety inspections, identifying what needs attention, and ensuring every used vehicle we put on the lot is something we're proud to sell. This role is focused on performing comprehensive safety inspections and completing approved reconditioning repairs to bring vehicles up to dealership and Lexus CPO standards. The technician will document findings, identify issues, perform road tests, and coordinate with management on priorities and timelines. The position requires maintaining a clean and safe workstation and accurate repair order documentation.

  • Comfortable working across multiple vehicle makes and model years
  • Detail-oriented and thorough

  • A quality-first mindset -- you don't clear a vehicle you wouldn't feel confident selling to your own family
