About The Position

This role serves as the primary point of contact for rental customers, handling inquiries and requests via phone, email, and internal channels. The specialist will coordinate rental operations by managing reservations, scheduling Equipment Movement Records (EMRs) through dispatch, and monitoring rental duration timelines. They will also support the sales team by providing rental fleet solutions and assisting with customer equipment needs. The position involves monitoring heavy rental demand and fleet availability to optimize equipment utilization and customer service, as well as maintaining rental workspace systems and records for accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, the specialist will assist with invoicing, manage loaner and demo equipment, and complete required training and special projects as directed by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) and ERP systems, with the ability to access, update, and manage business data efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey information clearly both verbally and in writing while working effectively with colleagues, teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-focused, with a commitment to accuracy, quality, continuous improvement, and delivering positive experiences for both internal and external customers.
