About The Position

JEFF WYLER CDJR of Ft. Thomas is looking for experienced, no-nonsense Used Car Technicians to join our busy service department. If you know how to diagnose problems, make quality repairs, and get the job done right the first time, we want you on our team. You’ll inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair used vehicles to ensure they’re safe, reliable, and ready for the road. We value skilled, independent technicians who take pride in their work and don’t need unnecessary oversight.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of automotive systems, equipment, and tools
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

• ASE certifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose used vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform maintenance and repair work
• Replace faulty or worn components
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation
• Accurately document all work performed
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
