About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Used Car Technician to join our busy dealership team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of used vehicles to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic software and reading schematics.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures for a variety of makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles, including both gasoline and diesel engines.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical, suspension, brakes, steering, and HVAC.
• Use schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair equipment.
• Maintain detailed repair records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
