About The Position

Germain Hyundai is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join their fast-paced, high-volume shop. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, thrives in a production-driven environment, and desires consistent work with strong earning potential.

Requirements

• Automotive technician experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a production-focused environment
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a shop environment throughout the day
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics on used vehicle inventory
• Complete reconditioning, maintenance, and repair work to dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, brake, steering, and drivability concerns
• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance services
• Identify and communicate additional repair recommendations
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and inspection reports
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety, quality, and dealership standards prior to sale
