About The Position

McCarthy Honda in Overland Park is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join their busy service department. This role offers a steady workflow and the opportunity to work with a reputable company within the McCarthy Auto Group. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, solving problems, and repairing a wide variety of vehicle makes and models, with a primary focus on Honda. This includes managing computer and electrical diagnostics and repairs, as well as inspecting and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles.

Requirements

• 3+ years tech experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair
• Self-motivated, strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification

Responsibilities

• Process automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair
• Manage computer and electrical diagnosis, testing, and repairs on a wide variety of makes and models with Honda being primary
• Inspect and recondition pre-owned vehicles
