About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Used Car Technician/Mechanic to join their Reconditioning Service team at the Kendall Ford Commercial Service Center of Meridian. The Service Department is a fast-paced, high-volume environment that supports all Kendall dealerships throughout the valley. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy consistent work, a strong team atmosphere, and opportunities to grow their automotive career.

Requirements

• Mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
• A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles.
• Performing adjustments and calibrations.
• Replenishing fluids.
• Disassembling and reassembling vehicle components.
• Repairing or replacing parts.
• Using independent judgment to make decisions.
• Documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
• Road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issue resolution.
