About The Position

Our state-of-the-art automotive disassembly plant in Camden, New Jersey has the capacity to dismantle 7000+ vehicles each month. We are one of the country’s largest automobile recyclers and your go-to source for used auto parts online – any year, any make, and any model. We have thousands of car parts listed on our online store ready to be shipped nationwide. We take pride in being involved in every step of the process and being able to ship used auto parts to our customer’s doors nationwide. My Auto Store is seeking an experienced and customer focused Used Auto Parts Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through inbound and outbound sales of used auto parts. This role is responsible for developing relationships with customers, converting warm leads into sales, and delivering exceptional service throughout the order lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong salvage yard sales experience, deep knowledge of used auto parts, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. This is a 100% commission based role, with the expected salary to be $135 – 205k/yr.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling used auto parts.
  • Prior salvage yard sales experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Hollander Interchange.
  • Comfortable handling both inbound and outbound sales calls and email communication.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Pinnacle inventory management system preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through the sale of used auto parts to new and existing customers.
  • Handle inbound calls, outbound calls, and email inquiries from warm leads and existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive follow-up and service.
  • Quote available inventory using Hollander interchange and recommend alternative parts when inventory is not available.
  • Convert quotes into completed sales transactions while maximizing profitability
  • Manage orders from point of sale through fulfillment, partnering with operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor order status, delayed shipments, and customer updates to ensure satisfaction.
  • Process return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and warranty claims in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within company systems.
  • Run and review sales reports to track individual performance and opportunities for growth.
  • Meet or exceed established individual sales goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process.
