About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently looking to hire a USAF Support Specialist (Associate Level) to join the USAF Fighters Sustainment Integrated Support and Planning Management (ISPM) team in Hazelwood, Missouri which provides engineering and logistics support services for the F-15 fighter aircraft fleet. This position will report to the F-15 Domestic ISPM manager in St. Louis, Missouri to ensure an integrated approach to execution for our support services contracts. We are seeking a multi-faceted individual with experience tracking parts from original equipment manufacturing throughout the repair cycle and to the field. In this role you will be responsible for determining current and future spare requirements by analyzing stock balance, past consumption rates, and reliability and maintainability information. Review customer requisitions for accuracy and coordinate estimated delivery dates and follow-up with suppliers on overdue deliveries. The position requires a working knowledge of concepts and methodologies to effectively determine and manage items and customer requirements and overall knowledge of the USAF Supply System.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of working with Supply Chain systems and tools.
  • 1+ year of experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • 1+ year of experience working in military logistics and/or working contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense.
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities.
  • Ensure proper coordination, tracking, and status are provided for preparation and on-time delivery of all official Boeing responses and deliverables.
  • Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs.
  • Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
  • Be able to communicate professionally with clear, concise, and complete thoughts.
