About The Position

The purpose of the role is to develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets. This position involves developing and implementing financial models, pricing, and strategies that support decision making in the global markets division. It also includes identifying opportunities and developing business cases for clients within the US Rates business, generating trade ideas, and providing macro market commentary. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, execution of research projects, and preparation of presentations and reports. Travel to see clients outside of New York is also expected.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement financial models, pricing, and strategies that support decision making in the global markets division.
  • Balance sheet usage, P&L calculations for trades, and regression modeling.
  • Identification of opportunities and development of business cases for clients within the US Rates business.
  • Generation of trade ideas, developing creative hybrid trade solutions and macro market commentary to both internal and external sources.
  • Training and mentoring of junior colleagues.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
  • Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for the global markets division.
  • Trips to see clients outside of New York, such as domestic trips to Florida and international trips to UK and Europe.
