About The Position

We’re looking for Research - Americas Equity to conduct analysis and provide financial insights for select Payments, Processors, & FinTech securities to aid in making solid investment decisions. This role involves authoring research reports on covered companies to communicate investment theses and opine on news flow events. The associate will build and maintain financial models to track and value companies, and prepare research reports that include company overview, competitive analysis, valuation, and other relevant information based on quantitative and fundamental factors. Communication of investment theses to clients and institutional sales, and attendance at industry and investor events are also key responsibilities. The role will also perform due diligence for potential banking transactions and companies (IPO’s and follow-ons). You’ll be working in the Global Research team in New York, NY, in partnership with a Lead Analyst and team to perform equity research and analysis of publicly traded companies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Finance, Economics or Accounting
Top-notch customer service focus and attitude for client engagement
The ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
Solid know-how of Microsoft Excel
An excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative models, reports and presentations
Inquisitive, organized and detail-oriented
A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver and optimize workflows.
Sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards and ethical use.

Nice To Haves

MBA preferred but not essential
Experience in the evaluation of companies an advantage
A good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements also an advantage although training will be provided on the job
Understanding other programming languages an advantage
Investment banking and/or buyside experience
