This 12-week internship is based at the company’s Gaithersburg, Maryland site and runs from May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027. The intern will research and organize key US Medical Affairs business processes and resources, including processes for working with external organizations and healthcare professionals, engaging vendors and purchasing services, generating scientific evidence, and reviewing and approving Medical Affairs activities and materials. The role will assess which information and resources are currently available and identify opportunities to make them easier for employees to find and understand. The intern will meet with colleagues across US Medical Affairs and other areas of the organization to learn how processes work, who is responsible for them, what resources and training are available, and which employee groups need access to that information. They will help design and build a centralized, sustainable resource that makes processes, training, guidance, and other resources easy to identify, while exploring how AI and automation could improve the user experience and support ongoing maintenance. Candidates must be rising juniors or seniors with an expected graduation date after August 2027, and must have US work authorization at the time of application. The position requires onsite attendance at the Gaithersburg site three days per week. CPT support and relocation assistance are not provided. Compensation is $31–$32.50 per hour.
