Requirements

• High school Diploma is required
• Experience in a Customs Brokerage environment, clearing shipments is an asset
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
• An eye for detail is critical for success in the role
• A proactive problem solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Liaising with multiple third parties (including US Customs, our clients, and shipping companies) to ensure international imports are cleared for entry into US.
• Use multiple computer programs, to input required information into our database.
• Communicate with clients, and transportation carriers via email and phone.
• Partner with internal departments, such as Logistics and Finance, plus varying government agencies to resolve discrepancies.
