About The Position

An expanding business in California's Central Valley is seeking a Business Development Manager to win new accounts and deepen partnerships throughout the region. The position is practical and front-facing, centered on creating a healthy sales pipeline, connecting directly with the people who make purchasing decisions, and raising the organization's profile within the local market. We are looking for someone who thrives out in the territory, can cultivate prospects from scratch, and works hand in hand with internal teams to move each won deal cleanly from agreement to fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and a talent for forming professional relationships
  • Between three and seven years in business development, outside sales, or a comparable position
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms and reporting functions
  • A demonstrated track record of sourcing leads, growing pipeline, and winning new accounts
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally within the Central Valley
  • Prior work within a B2B setting
  • Capable of juggling several active opportunities at varying stages

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete sales journey, from first contact through to a signed agreement
  • Seek out and chase fresh business prospects throughout the Central Valley area
  • Report regularly on outreach activity, pipeline status, and overall performance
  • Keep the pipeline current and reliable through consistent use of CRM tools
  • Establish and nurture connections with senior buyers and influential stakeholders
  • Grow revenue inside existing accounts as openings present themselves
  • Put together proposals, pricing, and the supporting paperwork behind each client engagement
  • Coordinate with operations and other internal departments to enable smooth onboarding and service delivery
