About The Position
We are seeking a US Application Architect with expertise in SAP HANA Development. This role is for a remote position, requiring US Citizenship, and serving a confidential client in the Aerospace Defense Industry. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with S/4 HANA, core ABAP, and ABAP for HANA, including RAP, CDS views, AMDP, and oData services. Proficiency in SAP Integration (RFC, BAPI, Proxy programming, AIF) and performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues is essential. Functional knowledge of SAP modules like SD and PS is also required. The role involves application architecture of SAP HANA, Suite on HANA Migrations (including Hanatization, S/4HANA Migration using the tool Custom Development Migration Worklist), defining code pushdown strategies, and recommending optimization tools. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration is expected, along with the ability to guide teams in S/4HANA and SoH Implementation/Migration Projects. Experience with HANA Studio, ABAP development tools, HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA Modeling tools is necessary. The candidate should be able to identify objects for optimization and apply advanced HANA Code push features.
Requirements

Responsibilities
