This position requires responding to calls in both inpatient and ambulatory settings across multiple campuses and involves pushing a mobile supply cart.
Requirements
- This is a Male team member position.
- High school diploma or successful completion of GED.
- Previous health care education or experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to unpredictable fluctuations in workload volume.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
- Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital medical background preferred.
- If a candidate does not currently have their Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross the Basic Life Support, certification will be included as part of the orientation program.
Responsibilities
- Providing urinary catheterizations
- Performing urinary drainage tube irrigations
- Conducting ultrasonic bladder scanning
- Reinforcing home-going education related to self-catheterization or urinary drainage tube irrigations
- Responding to calls in the inpatient and ambulatory setting at both the St. Marys campus and downtown/Methodist campus
- Pushing a mobile supply cart from call to call
