About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Urology. The role is based in an outpatient setting in Richland, WA, focusing on clinical duties only. The coverage period is from January 4, 2027, ongoing, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (or 7:30 am to 4:30 pm), for two weeks per month. This position is to supplement existing coverage and involves managing adult patients with an average daily volume of 22 in outpatient settings and 2 in inpatient settings. The facility is a Trauma Level II with 14 exam rooms, an onsite lab, and specialized office equipment including UDS & Uronav for outpatient and 2 DaVinci robots for inpatient procedures. The EMR system used is Epic. The practice includes 3 physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and a robust support staff consisting of RNs, MAs, a Nurse Navigator, Surgery Scheduler, referral coordinators, and receptionists.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient urology assessments and treatments for adult patients.
Manage patient schedules, follow-ups, and coordinate care with urology specialists.
Perform clinic-based procedures including first assisting in surgical cases as needed.
Document patient encounters accurately in Epic electronic medical records.
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
