About The Position

As a Specialty Clinic RN at CommonSpirit Medical Group - Urology - Holtzclaw, you will provide general nursing care and help support exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. The role includes educating patients and families, monitoring treatment progress and patient responses, and participating in multidisciplinary efforts to improve care processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing, upon hire, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license in Tennessee, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care according to established standards and procedures.
• Obtain and document health histories, chief complaints, vital signs, and health risk factors, and assess disease conditions.
• Carry out prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient responses.
• Refer to or consult with physicians and other health providers.
• Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Track quality-assurance data and monitor acute and chronic care management.
• Lead and support a clinical team of nurses and aides, with oversight of regulatory compliance, staffing, and fiscal health.
• Advocate for the clinical team and use its insights to improve staff and patient experiences.
