Urology Advanced Practice Provider - Outpatient
About The Position
The Section of Urology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire seeks a highly motivated Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse to join an established team of surgeons and advanced practice providers. You will work collaboratively in the outpatient setting to facilitate clinic visits and consults, performing H&Ps for surgical preparation, seeing post-ops, and performing minor procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience or advanced training in Urology, although highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time day shift position with no call responsibilities. The flexible schedule model could be four or five days per week.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
- National specialty certification as FNP or ANP or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRNs only)
- Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification

Responsibilities
- Facilitate clinic visits and consults in the outpatient setting.
- Perform H&Ps for surgical preparation.
- See post-operative patients.
- Perform minor procedures.
- Provide team-based approach to care and education to adult patients with various urological conditions, primarily in the outpatient setting.
- Develop a subspecialty focus.
