About The Position

Seeking a Urologist for a Locum Tenens position in Hancock, MI. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services for supplemental coverage. The coverage period is ongoing starting August 3, 2026. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with a mix of 4 days of outpatient and 1 day in the OR. The position requires the physician to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and involves admissions and rounding. The patient demographic is adult, with an estimated patient volume of 20 per day. The department has 25 beds and is a Trauma Level III facility. EMR systems used are Athena and Meditech. A Da Vinci Xi Robot is available on-site.

Requirements

• Active MI License or IMLC
• Board Certified (BC)
• DEA, CDS
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 50 urological procedures in the past 12 months

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robot

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in Urology.
• Perform general urology procedures.
• Conduct laparoscopic surgeries.
• Perform ureteroscopy.
• Conduct renal and bladder ultrasounds.
• Perform TRUS biopsies.
• Conduct fertility work-ups.
• Admit patients.
• Perform patient rounding.
• Supervise APPs.
