About The Position

We are seeking a Urologist for a Locum Tenens position in York, PA. This role involves providing coverage in a hospital setting, outpatient clinic, and operating room. The position requires 24-hour beeper call coverage, with an estimated 2-6 hours of callback per day. The coverage period is from June 1, 2026, ongoing, with specific dates outlined. The patient population consists primarily of adults (18+), with rare pediatric emergency cases, and an average daily census of 24-28 patients. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, phone consults, and managing a case mix of general urology, clinic, procedures, OR cases, and emergency call coverage. The facility is a Level I Trauma hospital with 593 beds and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Office equipment such as cystoscope, towers, and injection equipment are available, along with a support staff of 4 MAs, 1 CSA, and 1 RN. APP supervision is required. This coverage is needed for supplemental support.

Requirements

• PA license required or willingness to obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Comfortable supervising APPs

Nice To Haves

• Robotic experience preferred
