About The Position
Geisinger’s Department of Urology is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist to join their innovative and collaborative team. This is an opportunity to work in a nationally recognized academic health system that values quality, education, and cutting-edge technology. The position offers potential for an academic appointment through Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and includes signing incentives such as forgivable recruitment stipends. The role involves working with advanced technology including robotic systems, high-powered lasers, transperitoneal/fusion biopsies, Robotic Aquablation, and Rezum. There is a collaborative call schedule of 1:9 with APP/resident support. Academic and research opportunities include teaching residents in a fully accredited urology program and participating in clinical research. Professional growth is supported through mentorship and advancement opportunities within a multidisciplinary team. A new clinic and ASC opened in 2022, designed to support urology.
Requirements
- Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Passionate about patient care, innovation, and education
- Interested in academic medicine and clinical research
