About The Position

The Division of Urology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE urologist with an interest in Urologic Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery (URPS). An interest in neuro-urology would also be beneficial. The specific focus of responsibilities in reconstruction, female urology, and neuro-urology can be tailored to the applicant's background and professional interests. The role involves clinical care, education of students and residents, and participation in research programs. Practice opportunities are available at multiple system locations, including the University of Maryland Medical Center, University of Maryland Mid-town Campus, and the Veterans’ Affairs Maryland Health Care System. Opportunities for both basic and clinical research are available.

Requirements

  • BC/BE urologist
  • Interest in Urologic Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery (URPS)
  • Qualified to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in neuro-urology
  • Fellowship training or previous experience in URPS or Genitourinary reconstructive surgery (GURS)
