About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Urogynecologist to join our robust, integrative clinical team. As a Urogynecologist, you will work alongside an interdisciplinary team—including OB/GYNs, family medicine physicians, pelvic floor physical therapists, nurse practitioners, and more—to ensure patients receive seamless, coordinated care. You will participate in monthly case reviews, collaborative learning, and have the flexibility to introduce or develop new urogynecology services that reflect your expertise. Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible gynecologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology)
  • Strong knowledge of urogynecology, pelvic floor disorders, and advanced surgical and non-surgical treatments for pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and related conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in urogynecology
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex pelvic floor disorders, preferably in a multidisciplinary or surgical setting
  • Familiarity with a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in urogynecology, including urodynamics, pelvic floor imaging, and minimally invasive surgery
  • Strong background in patient counseling and education regarding pelvic health, treatment options, and patient empowerment strategies
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a busy clinical environment, demonstrating professionalism and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong charting/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including evaluation of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, and related pelvic floor disorders.
  • Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing both non-surgical and surgical interventions for pelvic floor disorders, optimizing patient quality of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including pelvic floor physical therapists, OB/GYNs, colorectal surgeons, nurse practitioners, and primary care providers—to provide comprehensive urogynecologic care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in urogynecology and pelvic floor medicine; participate in continuing education and quality improvement.
  • Educate and empower patients on pelvic floor health, preventive care, treatment options, and recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress, using appropriate urogynecologic assessments and patient feedback; adjust management plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Respond promptly to patient and team communications, providing timely clinical guidance and coordinating care.
  • Interpret and clearly communicate urodynamic testing, pelvic floor imaging, and pathology results to patients, ensuring understanding, answering questions, and supporting shared decision-making.
  • Partner with patients to develop individualized, evidence-based care plans for pelvic floor disorders, respecting their preferences, backgrounds, and health goals.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, therapists, and community resources, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Carefully completes all required documentation in a timely fashion.
