This role provides secretarial and clerical support in an efficient, timely, and professional manner. The receptionist will greet patients, collect copays, and manage patient registration, including obtaining demographic and insurance information. Key responsibilities include answering phones promptly, directing calls, taking messages, and obtaining necessary consents. The position also involves managing patient records, including retrieving and filing documents, scanning information, and coordinating with medical records and billing departments. The receptionist must be able to assist physicians with provider and patient communications and adapt to changing demands to ensure patient needs are met.
