Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related specialty
- Current or eligible for Ohio state medical license
- DEA certification or ability to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-volume urgent care settings
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare teams
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality urgent care and family medicine services to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and minor emergencies in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize on-site laboratory and imaging resources for efficient patient diagnosis and treatment
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
- Work 12-hour shifts with no overnight requirements, supporting work-life balance
- Build strong patient relationships through continuity of care in a combined urgent care and family practice setting
