The role involves practicing in Urgent Care, providing excellent patient care, and actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The Fairmont Gateway Clinic Urgent Care is situated within a multispecialty clinic offering direct access to specialists and full lab and radiology support. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and employer, with significant expansion in specialty care, a multi-organ transplant center, and a new Children's Hospital. The system serves a multi-state region and is anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown.
