About The Position
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician for a permanent Urgent Care opportunity with a multi-site outpatient urgent care group in North Carolina and Tennessee. This role offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and the ability to focus on patient care in a high-functioning urgent care environment. The practice environment is an outpatient urgent care setting, treating patients ages 6 months through adults. The EMR system used is Experity. On-site services include a CLIA-approved lab and digital X-ray. Additional provider support is added as patient volume increases. The focus is on episodic care, physicals, diagnostics, and minor procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- MD or DO degree required
- ACLS required
- DEA required
- DOT Certification required or willingness to obtain
- Civil Surgeon designation required or willingness to obtain
- CAQH registration required
- Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors
Responsibilities
- Acute care visits
- School, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals
- Vaccinations
- Interpretation of X-rays and lab results
- Minor procedures under local anesthesia
