Urgent Care Physician - Abingdon, VA
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management through specialized training and a fellowship, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and wound care modalities. The role involves conducting weekly wound rounds at facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day, and utilizing a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
