National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for their Youngstown, OH location. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. The practice involves delivering modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. The role is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities in a 40-60 mile radius, seeing 2-3 facilities and treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
