About The Position

CentraCare Urgent Care is expanding and seeking a BC/BE Urgent Care physician to staff its second location. This position offers hiring incentives such as a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The new location at the River Campus Clinic will provide the same high-quality, patient-centered care as the existing CentraCare-Plaza location. Unlike stand-alone urgent care clinics, CentraCare Urgent Cares are integrated within a comprehensive medical organization, ensuring strong relationships and access to a wide range of subspecialty services. This collaboration facilitates timely consultations and seamless transitions to specialty care when needed. For escalated care, the River Campus Urgent Care is attached to the St. Cloud Hospital. The position is supported by advanced medical technology, on-site lab services, and imaging capabilities. Both locations will be staffed with a mix of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. The primary work location will be at River Campus, with potential shifts available at the Plaza Location (approximately a 10-minute drive between facilities).

Requirements

BE/BC
Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges

Responsibilities

Provide care for common conditions including acute injuries (fractures, sprains, strains, dislocations, minor motor-vehicle injuries), lacerations requiring sutures or wound care, abdominal and joint pain, headaches and migraines, respiratory concerns (asthma, cough, cold symptoms, fever), dehydration, nausea, vomiting, eye injuries, nosebleeds, minor chest pain without cardiac history, blood clots or leg pain, and pediatric illnesses and injuries.
Work at the River Campus location primarily, with potential shifts at the Plaza Location.
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare professionals.
Utilize on-site lab services and imaging capabilities for patient care.
Ensure patients receive timely consultation and seamless transition to specialty care when needed.
