Pediatric Urgent Care Physician – Nassau County Breaking Barriers. Expanding Care. Changing Pediatrics. Shifts: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM weekdays | 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM weekends We are looking for a Pediatric Urgent Care Physician to join Allied Physicians Group in Nassau County , NY as we build a best-in-class Pediatric Urgent Care experience. Requirements
- Active New York State Physician License
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- DEA Registration
- Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience required
- Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
Nice To Haves
- EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients—from infants through young adults
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting
- Deliver reassurance, education, and clear communication to families during high-stress situations
- Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
- Collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care
- Maintain efficient and accurate documentation within athenaOne EMR
- Support telemedicine integration and patient-centered innovation initiatives
