About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for opportunities in the Joplin area. The role provides high-quality patient care in state-of-the-art urgent care centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic). Providers work with collaborative staffing, including radiology technicians and trained medical assistants. The position offers competitive salary and hourly rates, daily volume bonuses, quarterly bonuses of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction and quality measures, and a sign-on bonus offer for full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant roles. Requirements
- At least 1 year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints.
- Ability to provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
- For Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA certification.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.
Responsibilities
